Yes, Valet provides real-time tracking to help you manage your outdoor equipment rental fleet seamlessly. Bookings online, walk ins, from mobile, they all hold inventory and help you guarantee your customers have the gear they need for their next adventure.

Can the system accommodate both walk-in rentals and online reservations?

Can the system handle multi-day rentals?

Yes, Valet is designed to accommodate rentals of any duration, including multi-day bookings.

Does Valet integrate with other platforms, such as accounting software, payment gateways, or POS systems?

Integration features are currently in development and will be available in future updates. As with any feature we develop; we believe that integrations need to be functional and easy to use like the rest of our rental management system. Many integrations from legacy booking solutions are actually just work arounds for their lack of dedicated payment terminal software. We have our own terminal.

Yes, Valet is completely free to try. You can fully onboard your business and begin managing your bike rental fleet without any outside intervention.

Does Valet support bike-specific add-ons?

Yes, Valet supports a range of bike-specific add-ons, allowing you to customize your rental fleet options for your customers.

Can Valet track bike maintenance schedules alongside rental availability?

While Valet doesn’t track maintenance schedules, it allows you to easily flag bikes as unavailable due to maintenance. While we do not have specific plans for a more robust maintenance tracking system this is something that comes up and as we help more outfitters with their software needs we may prioritize creation of this feature.

How does the software handle liability waivers and rental agreements?

Valet allows you to upload and collect digital signatures for your liability waivers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and helping protect your business from litigation. Each user has a waiver and it is all attached to the booking.

Does Valet have an availability system that allows 24hr bookings or Calendar day bookings?

With Valet you can easily setup your pricing system to function on a calendar day or 24hr basis. You can even have some setup 24hr and others calendar day.

How long does it take to setup a new bike and publish it to the customer interface?

Once the bike shop rental system is set up, adding a new bike takes very little time—typically around 2 minutes. The customer-facing booking page will automatically update without any additional intervention being required.

What experience does Valet have in the bike industry?

Valet’s co-founder, Seth, brings 25 years of experience in the bike industry, with a significant portion of that time spent successfully running a bicycle rental service. This extensive background has influenced the development of Valet’s bike rental software, which is specifically built from the ground up to cater to the unique needs of the bicycle rental industry.
